The ads weren't broken. The website was.
First we built one landing page for each ad, which brought in more buyers on the same spend. That result led to a full store rebuild, and the new store converts the same traffic far better.
Shopify store rebuild
We changed one thing: where the ads pointed.
The ads were sending shoppers to the homepage and the collections page, neither of them built for the ad that brought them there. We kept the same campaigns, audiences, and creative, and sent each ad to a page built for it.
Same spend before and after · Five days in, Caplansky's signed on for the full rebuild.
Built to pick up where the ad left off.
Nowhere to wander off
Two anchor links and one button. No store nav pulling shoppers back into the catalog.
The product takes the stage
The product sits front and center, large and in detail, beside a headline and one button. Shoppers see what they're buying before they read a word.
Selling points at the button
The reasons to buy sit directly under the call to action: vegan, kosher, gluten-free, made in the USA. Shoppers get the answer at the moment they decide.
Awards up top
Social proof sits right under the hero, where shoppers decide whether to keep scrolling. Three silver medals at the World-Wide Mustard Competition do the convincing.
Pick a decision to find it on the page
“Tony initially created a landing page for us. Impressed, we asked him to review our website for a teardown and redesign. They delivered a beautiful and very fast website redesign on time and on budget. … On one website, our conversion rate has tripled. On the other, it's increased by a factor of 20! Tony and Natalie know their stuff, communicate very well, and are a pleasure to work with.”

Fewer sessions, more buyers.
The landing pages showed that the old site was the bottleneck, so we rebuilt the store top to bottom. The new store loses far fewer shoppers at cart and checkout.
Change from the old site to the new one, US store.
Mobile conversion.
About three in four visitors shop on a phone, so we designed the store for the phone first. That is where most of the rebuild's gain came from.

How we measured it.
Was this an A/B test?
No. Both results compare before and after. For the landing pages, the campaigns, audiences, and creative stayed the same; only the destination changed.
Which periods are compared?
For the landing pages, the 30 days before the switch against the 30 days after. For the rebuild, about a month on the old site against a month on the new one.
Where do the numbers come from?
Ad results come from Meta Ads reporting, and store results from Shopify orders. Every figure on this page is a percentage change.
Can I see the full numbers?
Yes. Ask, and we'll walk you through the full report.
